Surgery to help degenerative disc disease I am 35 and have had 3 back surgeries in the last year due to degenerative disc disease. One of my discs shattered in my sleep. I had my first back surgery when I was 24 which gave me 9 years of help, until now. Has anyone else suffered with DDD for this long or know if it runs in families?
