I was watching the TV show LOST - more http://www.abc.com - religiously over the past six year. In one of the episode of season 6 the spinal surgeon Jack tells the partially paralyzed John that spinal injuries can be reversed in the OR. I think he said something like "Nothing is irreversible!" That sounded too good to be true!
I am wondering why film/tv writers come up with these kind of lines? Though they create fiction, it might create false hopes among the viewers, no?
