Researchers may have found a drug that inhibits serotonin from producing in the gut, something that is linked with osteoporosis. The drug was found to have prevented osteoporosis for those who did not have it or fully cured the mice that did. The other nice discovery is that serotonin levels in the brain did not appear to be affected, thereby reducing the risk of adverse side effects.
